Occasional wave height is the average of the highest 1/10 of the wave spectrum. .SYNOPSIS... A weak trough averaging 29.90 inches lingers over Lake Erie today before a ridge averaging 30.10 inches builds from the west tonight and persists through Sunday. The ridge then exits slowly eastward before a warm front sweeps northeastward across Lake Erie Monday night. A cold front should sweep southeastward across Lake Erie Tuesday night and stall near the Ohio Valley by Thursday. Behind the cold front, a weak ridge averaging 30.00 inches should build from northern Ontario and vicinity through Thursday. However, on Thursday, Tropical Cyclone Beryl's remnant low may weaken to 29.80 inches and approach from the Mid Mississippi Valley and vicinity as the low moves along the aforementioned stalled front.
