THIS HAZARDOUS WEATHER OUTLOOK IS FOR EAST CENTRAL FLORIDA.

.DAY ONE...TONIGHT.

.THUNDERSTORM IMPACT...
As of 8 PM, a stray storm or two capable of producing lightning 
strikes and gusty winds cannot be ruled out over the next couple 
of hours, though confidence in any activity developing remains 
low.

.RIP CURRENT AND SURF IMPACT...
A High Risk of strong, life-threatening rip currents continues at 
Volusia, Brevard, and Indian River beaches overnight. A Moderate 
Risk continues at St. Lucie and Martin county beaches. Entering the 
ocean at night is strongly discouraged!

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...SUNDAY THROUGH FRIDAY.
Above normal temperatures and humid conditions will continue Sunday 
into early next week. Peak heat index values of 102 to 107 degrees 
will be common into early next week. This stretch of heat will 
prolong the risk for heat-related illness. Residents and visitors 
planning to be outdoors are encouraged to practice heat safety by 
taking frequent breaks in air-conditioned or shaded spaces and 
staying well-hydrated.

Scattered lightning storms are forecast west of I-95 on Sunday, 
while a lower risk for showers and storms exists, again, along the 
coast. Shower and storm coverage will increase areawide Monday 
through much of the upcoming week. Occasional to frequent lightning 
strikes, gusty winds, and heavy rainfall will accompany the most 
organized activity.

At least a Moderate risk of dangerous rip currents will continue 
into early next week.
