This Hazardous Weather Outlook is for portions of Puerto Rico.

.DAY ONE...Today and Tonight

.Lightning...Isolated to scattered thunderstorms possible across
northwestern and eastern half of Puerto Rico, particularly during
the afternoon hours. Be aware of thunderstorms in your area and 
be prepared to take shelter.

.Excessive Heat...This level of heat affects anyone without
effective cooling and/or adequate hydration. Impacts likely in
some health systems, heat-sensitive industries and
infrastructure.

.Rip Currents...Life-threatening rip currents are possible across
all beaches in Puerto Rico, Culebra, and Vieques.

.DAYS TWO THROUGH SEVEN...Sunday through Friday

Mostly dry and stable weather conditions should prevail across the
islands through Monday. Another tropical wave will reach the area by
late Monday into Tuesday. Hazy skies will remain possible through
Sunday. 

.SPOTTER INFORMATION STATEMENT...

Spotter activation is encouraged. Please relay any information
about flooding, winds, waves, and rip currents to the National
Weather Service in San Juan.
